about

'Days In Between' was written and tracked over the course of two years by The Stammer in their Kensington practice space. It features lost souls, bad actors, car crashes, hurricanes, visions of doom, and small pockets of hope. The album begins with a plea to a friend and ends with the onset of winter. The setting is Philadelphia and it tells the stories of a few burnouts and left-behinds that live here.

"With a nod to Lou Reed and The Flaming Stars, ‘Hey Joan’ is a hazy jangle of deliciously sounding shimmering guitars with a bouncy, propulsive rhythm and nonchalant vocals, bringing a joyous lazy day mood." - barrygruff.com

"The Storm opens with a dense rhythm section that rivals Joy Division: a chugging bassline is layered on top of dancy krautrock drums…Both tracks display the band’s excellence at deadpan delivery and their attention-grabbing acute tendencies." - WXPN The Key

"While the theme is giving a friend hard advice, the music is hazy, shimmering guitar pop with a propulsive rhythm and delicious sounding guitars." - When You Motor Away
